Was creating an additional standard account for my daughter on a spare laptop I got from an inlaw.

This is connected to my broadband access at home, not ROOter.

This is not memory issue, there is typically 15-20Mbytes free memory left.

updating bind dns records-75

So as most of u know i am running with a vodafone R216 modem tethered to a tplink mr3420 V1 which goes into 70m ethernet cable and then into a mr3420 V1 in client mode.

There are some websites i cannot access, like here is what happens paypal i cannot access, this used to happen when i had DNS on so i changed them to Vodafone DNS servers.

Script works, if there is no connection, it do its actions (reboot or toggle).

I tested this, so it do not crash during corrective actions.

But someone have to log ROOTer and do this manually. Is there log file for Connection Monitor somewhere?

Did you try to choose router reboot action in Connection Monitoring?

I do like vodafones online usage meter because i can check it anywhere but this is handy for now. Actually they do everything better than telstra when it comes to mobile broadband.

I never thought i would say that in Australia about Vodafail.

Both settings(reboot or toggle usb power) cause same issue, connection monitor gives false indication.
