As the fix is temporary, it will be erased as soon as you turn off your PSP.To install the custom recovery after restarting your PSP, you just need to run the section. You can now install custom plugins on PSP and use it as you like.

updating custom firmware on psp-14

In temporary hack, PSP runs the custom firmware as long as its switched on/standby but after restarting it, things go back to default.

The permanent one on the other hand means that the fix will remain even after restarting the PSP.

We recently reported the updated Chronoswitch which allows downgrading PSP's from firmware 6.61 to 6.60.

Developer qwikrazor87 at around the same time also released this PSP custom firmware. PRO-C f3 for 6.61, CIPL flasher left out intentionally since I don't know anything about it, I just used the keys/offsets for 6.60 (which won't work obviously).

Use the Infinity Configurator to update infinity and choose which custom firmware to boot into on start up. Bug fixes will be provided, but after 12 years of PSP, this is where it ends for me. After this your device will reboot and you'll be in Infinity!

I plan to continue work on the vita and start some new, exciting projects. From here, install any CFW you wish and activate the permament patch in the Infinity Configuration app.

Moreover, reapplying the fix after restarting PSP takes only a few seconds.

So let’s start and proceed only if the version is 6.60.
